Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Robbins originally hails from El Paso, Texas. While attending undergraduate studies he chased baseball scholarships and eventually received his BS in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. Dr. Robbins graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December of 1988.
Dr. Robbins has always had a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation after his years as a collegiate baseball pitcher and then as a tri-athlete. After graduation he followed up this interest by continuing his studies in a post-graduate program where he received a post-doctoral certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). In his first practice Dr. Robbins served as the team chiropractor for the Tulsa Roughnecks a Semi-professional Soccer team. Shortly thereafter he joined a select group of doctors sponsored by the jean and pants manufacturer Wrangler Corporation. The Wrangler Pro-Sport team was assembled to treat Professional Rodeo athletes and eventually some NASCAR team members. On several occasions Dr. Robbins traveled to Las Vegas, NV to participate in the Pro-Sport National Conference which took place during the National Finals Rodeo.
Upon moving to Danville, VA, Dr. Robbins continued his training earning the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board Level 1 (ACRB1) certification. This post-doctoral certification focuses physicians skills on the most advanced rehabilitation techniques and research. Not long thereafter Dr. Robbins entered a distance learning program for Chiropractors hosted by Jaegallonian University in Krakow Poland where he completed a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Dr. Robbins has also served in the past as a team chiropractor for the Danville Braves, a consultant for Averett University Athletic program, and Workmans Compensation Physician for the city of Danville.
This past year Dr. Robbins went to the Dominican Republic on 2 mission trips serving in a Orthopedic Trauma hospital in Santo Domingo and also spent a week working with orphans in Puerto Plata.
Dr. Robbins has been married to his beautiful wife Anita for 25 years, and they have 9 children (seven of which were adopted from Russia) and 4 grandsons. They enjoy life on their Virginia farm and being active in their local church.

Bethany F. Boring, PA-C
Bethany Foose Boring has been CoreCare Back Institutes practicing Physician Assistant since 2011. She earned her masters degree from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She has practice experience in a variety of specialty fields including general surgery, hospital medicine and interventional/procedural pain management.
Bethany has a passion for improving the health of her patients, whether its helping them resolve their neck and back pain or helping them manage high blood pressure or diabetes. She also enjoys assisting patients with CoreCares unique weight loss program. We consider her a valuable part of our healthcare team.
Bethany became an ovarian cancer survivor in 2010. In 2012 her son was born. Despite being born deaf, Bethanys son has been hearing since 2013 thanks to bilateral cochlear implants. In her free time, Bethany passionately promotes spoken language and literacy. She recently became an independent consultant for Usbrone Books and More.
